If you have registered for an RKC certification workshop, paid the participation fee, and are present in a learning-ready state during the workshop, you will receive the following:

What do you receive as a participant of the RKC certification workshop?

Manual

Upon registration, you will receive the current edition of the extensive (100+ pages) manual for the respective certification level in paper form (printed and bound in A4 format).

Delivery of Learning Material

The specific learning content of the workshop is detailed in the announcement. It covers everything necessary to achieve the intended competency profile for the respective level—provided that the participant is adequately prepared, as recommended in the announcement.

Sufficient time will be allocated during the workshop to address individual needs, answer questions, and correct specific deficiencies. However, it is not possible to spend disproportionately much time with unprepared participants during a certification workshop, as this could jeopardize the learning progress of other participants.

Punctuality and Flexibility

The workshop starts on time. It is strongly recommended to arrive on time for registration, which usually begins slightly earlier than the official start of the workshop.

The expected duration is typically 8 hours per day. However, please note that the actual duration depends on the learning progress of the participants and the planned content. Therefore, plan an additional hour of buffer time for your departure or other subsequent activities.

The exact time for the lunch break will be announced during on-site registration and lasts at least 30 minutes. Additionally, several short breaks of 5–10 minutes will be scheduled by the workshop leader as needed.

Qualified Leadership and Adequate Assistance

The workshop is guaranteed to be led by a qualified member of the RKC leadership team. Should a speaker need to be replaced in rare cases, it will be ensured that an equally qualified speaker steps in.

Depending on the number of participants, the number of assistants will be determined (at least one assistant is mandatory for more than 12 participants).

Secured, Learning-Friendly Environment

The workshop leader is responsible for ensuring that all participants find the best possible learning environment. If a participant negatively affects the workshop through inappropriate behavior, lack of preparation, or physical impairments (e.g., alcohol or drug use, contagious diseases), the leader reserves the right to exclude that person from participation. This is to protect the learning process of all participants.

The event takes place in a suitable location with sufficient space and appropriate equipment.

Fair Examination with Protocol

Each participant will be examined under the same, fair, and pre-communicated conditions. The participant will receive individual feedback on their test results as well as insight into the examination protocol. Whether the test is passed or not is solely at the discretion of the workshop leader.

Right to Retake the Exam

If a participant does not pass the test, they have three months to retake the exam via video or in person with the workshop leader. The workshop leader will support the participant appropriately in preparing for the retake.

If the retake is prevented due to injury or illness, the workshop leader may grant an extension of an additional three months. However, the validity of the certification (three years) will be shortened accordingly—it begins retroactively from the original workshop date.

Certificate of Participation

After successfully participating in the workshop, participants will receive a certificate of participation. This certificate is not a certification document but a prerequisite for participating in a workshop at the next higher level. The certification document will only be issued once the exam has been successfully passed and the certification documents for the previous levels are available. Simply put: Participation qualifies you for the next level workshop, while certification qualifies you for certification at the next higher level.
