Hardstyle Kettlebell Phenomenon

Hardstyle Kettlebell Phenomenon

Hardstyle Kettlebell is unique in many ways: First of all, it’s nothing new – kettlebells in their current form have been in use for over 300 years, and in Asia and Greece, there were already stone devices that look quite similar to the kettlebell. New devices come onto the market almost daily, are sold for more or less expensive prices, and disappear just as quickly into obscurity. Why do they disappear? – Because most cannot fulfill their grand marketing promises. However, when a device has been used for several hundred years, you can be pretty sure that it can deliver results.

Another specialty of Hardstyle kettlebell training is that the user is not only given a device but also a functioning training system. With most training devices available today, it is left to the user how they want to use them – and because there is a danger that an inexperienced layperson may injure themselves, the training resistance is usually limited to a ridiculously low level by the manufacturer.

It’s no coincidence that well-known fitness equipment manufacturers only offer extremely light kettlebells (I always like to use such as keychains). An adult man typically starts his kettlebell training with 16 kg – for many manufacturers, that is already the largest available kettlebell.

But isn’t that dangerous? – No, because our madness has a system! Before you are allowed to take a kettlebell into your hands with a qualified kettlebell instructor, you first learn to lift it correctly – that is, with a straight and tense back. Anyone who has learned this method – the so-called deadlift – correctly does not have to fear back pain in most cases. Only after you have mastered that do you learn further techniques, all of which have one thing in common: they take into account the movement mechanics of the human body and distribute the training load evenly. This makes it possible to train safely and with high intensity – and thus achieve dramatic training results in a short time.

Anyone who wants to become an instructor at the RKC Kettlebell School must show that they actively use the kettlebell in their training. We ruthlessly filter out all candidates in our courses who cannot demonstrate clean technique or are not willing to adhere to our RKC code of conduct. This states, among other things, that an RKC instructor has the duty to continue improving their own technique – even after certification.

Our goal is to be the best training system on the fitness market.

Did you know?

... regular Hardstyle kettlebell training practically inevitably brings you results? Even with the simplest training programs, everyone will quickly improve their performance if they just train regularly.
