Sport as a balance

Sport as a balance

Everyone knows it, you are under exam stress and can't see the sun for all the studying. Others are just having a bad day/week/month because something is just not going right. Quickly, sports fall by the wayside and become less important.

If you're deep into exams, you can definitely clear your head for studying again by simply treating yourself to 30 minutes of kettlebell training. Just immerse yourself in the feeling of athletic performance while the training is happening and your mind is completely occupied with the sport. This can liberate you and temporarily relieve the pressure and stress of studying.

Afterward, you can return to work with a clear head and a satisfied body, because those who study a lot usually move far too little. Poor posture while sitting and a head constantly bent down, just to name a few examples.

Many then say, "Yes, I'll start exercising again after the exams, then I'll have time." But usually, after the final exams, the new job or studies come along, and suddenly there's no time for sports again. From temporarily no sports, it quickly becomes permanently no sports. Yet, one would have such a good balance to the constant stress and could do something for their health and well-being.

I often hear, "I still have time to exercise later," but when is later? Many associate sports with hours of torture in the gym, but isn't the opportunity to train at home particularly convenient during studying or with a stressful job?

With the kettlebell, you have an incredibly good tool at hand, which can also be easily acquired for home use. It is compact, robust, and doesn't take up much space. Additionally, the time spent traveling to the gym is eliminated. Once you have learned all the basic techniques from a certified RKC trainer, a lot can be done at home with very little time investment. Deep Six or Simple & Sinister, just to name a few examples, are already relatively time-saving but very effective methods.

Have fun with it, your Daniel.

Did you know?

…that the kettlebell has been around for a few centuries? So it's not a trend that is just selling well on the market, but a real staple in sports. Even the old-school strongmen trained with it. It has thus proven to be a tried-and-true training tool.
